The Mountain Between Us Trailer 2017 Movie - Official

I ended up finishing this book last night. Book review will up next. All I can say is this is another movie I will be watching but I can see from the movie trailer that there are some major changes that were made. Which always happen but it won't stop me from going and watching it.

Review: The Snowman

The Snowman The Snowman by Jo Nesbø
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Now let me caution you, this book can be dark, violent, depressing, graphic, strong sexual content, and little scary. So just use caution if you are sensitive to stuff like that. This author does not hold back.
Now this is my 1st Jo Nesbo book. I know this may sound crazy but for me it is really hard for me start a book knowing there are multiple books before and after and with this one being book 7 in the series it made me a little nervous. I'm guessing I am missing a lot of information about Harry Hole that would be helpful for me to know. Although I will say I seemed to follow along pretty well. I did however did have a few moments of confusion. Otherwise I did enjoy this book a lot it had some twist and turns. I haven't decided if I will start this series from the beginning or just continue on from here?!?!?! But I will be watching the movie.

The Snowman Official Trailer #1 (2017) Michael Fassbender Thriller Movie HD

I definitely can't wait to watch this. I can never pass up a scary thriller movie and this one looks good. My book review will be up next.

Review: Dead Reckoning

Dead Reckoning Dead Reckoning by Charlaine Harris
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I'm sure I have said this before but I had discovered the show before finding out it was a book series. And I also started watching the show before reading the books. So at this point I just want to finish the series since I have only 2 books left. There has also been a lot of time that has passed since I had finished book 10 and reading this one. That being said this read was ok and don't feel like it got anywhere for me. IMO The show and this series are just completely different.

What Am I Currently Reading?!?!?!

I have 3...umm...kind of 4 books going right now. Well really just 3, one I put on hold for now. Ok so I had started to read Queen Of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas book #4 in the Throne Of Glass series. And for some reason I kind of got stuck on like page 108 and although I was still listening to audiobooks and reading things here and there. I seemed to not get anywhere with this book. I was just so tired and busy with my kids that sitting and reading this book just wasn't happening. But now that my kids are back in school and we are all on a much regular schedule. I got to sit and pick it back up again.....But...yes there is another but. I had to put it back down again. Hear me out......It's a good reason, my husband and my oldest had gone to the movies and started telling me that there was a movie coming out that we had to go watch when it comes out. That Kate Winslet and Idris Elba were in it so of course I wanted to know more. He (my husband) tells me yeah it's called "The Mountain Between Us" & I was thinking that sounds like a book title. I look on Goodreads and sure enough it is. So I immediately requested it at my local library especially after reading the synopsis on Goodreads. Well, the book came in a lot sooner than expected. And I had to decide, finish Queen Of Shadows & then read The Mountain Between Us or put QOS on hold and start reading TMBU. The library book won the case. So I am currently reading "The Mountain Between Us" by Charles Martin. How could you not want to read this book!? Anyways....I only just started, about 100 pages in but I am loving it so far....!!! I will keep you posted!!

Review: Vengeance Road

Vengeance Road Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

....Oh Jesse....Ok here's the deal other than reading The Gunslinger by Stephen King (which is more of a science fiction/fantasy book) I have never read a Western so really you can consider this my 1st Western. And there is no way I would ever think I would like or enjoy a Western but I sures did. #1- This book is set in AZ my home state which I loved. #2- When Kate was roughing it, you felt like you were roughing it....dirt, heat, & burnt biscuits and all. #3- If you think this might be too much of a "girly" type of read...let me give you a snip from the book....(" That sounds real nice, boy" he says. "Now for the love of God, lower that damn pistol." "All right." I says And I do. Right before I shoot him in the skull.) I mean, what else do you want besides Vengeance for Pa' ;)

Review: Murder on the Orient Express

Murder on the Orient Express Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I know....I know the book is always better then the movie but after I read a book that is being made into a movie. I always get excited to see it on the big screen. And this is definitely one I can't wait to see on the big screen. If you are a fan of the game or movie Clue.....then I really think you will enjoy this. From the very beginning of this book it was a who done it! There a multiple characters and you get to know about each one. And each one has a story as to why or how they happen to be on the Orient Express and each passenger may or may not be guilty?!?! This was easy to follow and had a great ending.
