Review: Heir of Fire

Heir of Fire Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have a lot of different feelings for this book. This book took me awhile to read. I was blaming life getting in the way of me getting through this book but really it was the book it self that was causing me to take way too long to get through it. It comes down to this. I feel like this book was way too long. It had too much filler for me, it took too long to get to the point for me. Like I had a hard time reading about the witches. Now I am guessing there has to be a reason for the story of the witches?! But I really didn't find them interesting at all but I'm sure there will be a reason for them in the next book/books?!? I did love to read about Chaol and Dorian and what was going on with them while Celaena was away. Now as far as Rowan, I did like..... no I loved Rowan's character a lot and did find his story to be good and his interaction with Celaena to be good. So I guess I have to see what happens with him and what his role will be with Celaena. I am looking forward to the next book because I need to know what happens next and how the story will go.
