Review: Red Queen

I am torn between 3 -4 stars on this so maybe 3.5 stars. Now, don't get me wrong I did like this book and plan on continue on in the series. But the story seemed to be something I have read before, at least for me. In the fact that Mare comes from a lower class, she tries to help a friend, she needs to help her family, there is a love story, she has abilities she didn't know about, her life is not what she thought it was, and there needs to be a hero. So I guess it is just a matter of how you feel about this kind of story and if you yourself has read a story like this. If you haven't then you will probably love it. I found this to be good but not amazing for me.
