I was glad to get back into this world of Elias and Laia. You also get to be in the world of Helene. They all face crazy obstacles. Elias wants his freedom, Laia wants to free her brother from the most dangerous prison, and Helene has to prove her loyalty to Marcus by being sent on a mission to kill both Elias and Laia. This was a great sequel to the 1st book. I've read that this might be turned into a movie or series. And I think it would be great to see it on the big screen.

I'm Still Here!!!

......I know.......I know, where have I been?! I'm still here and still reading and sewing. The next two weeks are going to be crazy for me, as Christmas is getting closer. I do have book reviews coming later today and over the weekend. They will be short and to the point. I also am hoping the makers of the Blogger mobile app. will do a much needed update. Because it is so much easier for me to post all of the other things I want to talk about. ......Anyways happy Friday everyone!

Review: The Kindred Killers

Graham Smith delivers another great crime thriller that you must read. He brings Jake Boulder back and back he is with his rough, tough, and kick a** attitude to help find a gruesome killer but this time it's a little personal as it involves his friend Alfonse's family. Together they are left with just about no clues to find the killer or is it killers?!?! Bodies are being left to be found murdered in some of the most gruesome ways, others are being abducted. And it only gets worse. With the FBI not wanting Jake around can He and Alfonse find the killer/killers? I don't think you will be disappointed while reading this book. Like I said before these books would make for a great action packed crime movie or maybe even a TV series.

Review: Watching the Bodies

Watching the Bodies by Graham Smith

This is my 1st. Graham Smith book and I am so glad I was able to read this. This book was a awesome crime thriller. This book was a great surprise. Yes...there is a serial killer but man, the unusual way this serial killer selects his victims is what I consider to different and kind of scary. Where to start on one of the main characters in this story.....Aw....Yes Jake Boulder! Oh Jake he is a man that takes no $@#& from anyone and gets thrown into a non-stop adventure with his good friend. They both get asked to help out the police department to help catch a serial killer. Now, I honestly believe this should be made into a movie because that's what I felt I was watching while reading this. If you are a fan of crime thrillers then you need to read this book. I can't wait to read the next book in this series because I need to go on another adventure with Jake Boulder!!

Review: The Mountain Between Us

I do want to say this 1st, Do not let the fact that this book is under Christian Fiction stop you from reading this book. Ok....Oh where should I start......I have never read any books from this author and really had not heard of him, although I do remember seeing this cover before in bookstores but it didn't catch my attention enough to pick up the book and see if it grabbed my attention. Now if it wasn't for my husband and daughter talking about a movie trailer they had seen and them telling me the title. I would have not looked it up on Goodreads. I only saw a few seconds of the movie trailer enough to see who the actors were and right away I put the book on hold at my local library. This book kept my attention the whole way through. I couldn't help but feel for the 2 main characters. And feel like if I was there. I wanted to tell them to keep going don't give up. But I didn't know what was going to happen. And I was wanting to know what was going to happen to them next. So much so I was I lost track of time or how much of the book I had read, which is a great thing IMO. This book made me ugly cry and it takes a lot to make me ugly cry. This book was definitely a unexpected adventure of ups and downs. And even though most book readers know the book is better the movie. I am actually very excited to watch the movie.
